2009 Franciscan Estate Chardonnay
Color: lemon,
nose: med+ lush tropical fruit such as pineapple, vanilla, very ripe peach and mango
palate: dry, acid is med+ tannin low finish med+
Style: This is a delicious and restained style of California Chardonnay, with oak giving it an elegant and subtle finish. Juicy with ripe fresh fruit, this wine has balance, finesses, a lingering finish, and is great to drink now with a salad or entree of white fish with vanilla infused foam.

This is an excellent example of a ripe California Zin, all warm golden flavors and a finish of crips acidity and earthiness despite the brown sugar mouthfeel. An excellent pairing with rich dishes such as brisket.
