Like Tempranillo? Ever tried an Oregon Tempranillo? Well, last night at the GastroArts Restaurant was the place to try it!
Kevin Zraly, a world famous wine writer and educator, was at the helm of this special event to celebrate tempranillo. He assembled a crew of New York based judges in addition to an esteemed group of enologists from the Spanish Federation of Associations of Oenologists and TAPAS to judge hundreds of wines and thus showcase the diversity and richness tempranillo has to offer.
At the awards dinner last night, one could find every sort of tempranillo possible, from white to red, from Oregon to its native region in Spain.
Robin Kelly O'Connor and Kevin Zraly along with the team from Vibrant Rioja and CRT-Tanaka made for a fabulous evening.
