Tasting Pommery Cuvee Louise
By Marisa D'Vari | June 29th, 2012 | Category: News | No Comments »
Really fun night the other evening as several executives from the top Champagne house Pommery were in New York to give us a taste of their famed Cuvee Louise 2000 vintage, and also their 1999 Brut.
Interesting, Louise was named by Madame Pommery in honor of her daughter Louise, to whom she gave birth at the (then) ancient age of 38.
The house was created in 1874 by then-Pommery Cellar Maaster Victor Lambert Pommery.
Recently, Champagne Pommery launched Pommery POP Earth as an example of the brand's commitment to protect the planet by utilizing sustainable development wine-growing programs.
I liked both the Champagne styles, yet you can't go wrong with rose for summer!
