The Union Des Grand Crus de Bordeaux (UGB) visited New York on January 21st and I was excited to see old friends - Bordeaux is a community and during my many visits during the year I've managed to meet so many wonderful people and stay in their Chateaux, in addition to tasting their wine!
For the last few years I've been at the conference for Master of Wine students in the Napa Valley, yet as I am attending the session in Bordeaux this year, I was able to make this date.
The wines showed well as did their representatives, who must have been exhausted from this road show!

The UGBwas foounded in 1973 and is now an association consisting of 132 grands crus estates with the same high standard of quality.
