So Maria and Rob Stuart were kind enough to send us six bottles of their wine from McMinnville, Oregon -- last year we and several other bloggers were lucky enough to get an invitation to blend wine with them!

I am saving our "Blogger's Blend" for last, yet now am trying the Big Fire Pinot Noir 2010. It is rather light in color and translucent, with delicious cherry fruit on the nose and a very medium palate with more wild cherry fruit and a long, mineral and cherry finish. A very refreshing, lifted wine - quite unique and delicious!

Rob and partners founded the company in early 2002 after working with some of the best wineries around the world and is passionate about what he does.

That day in his McMinnville facility he explained how he sources his grapes and what each particular parcel adds to the blend.
