The best place to eat an amazing "espetada". I have been going there ever since I can remember. Good environment and friendly staff. Make sure you book it especially on weekends.

A big space for all tastes with a nice dining room and a beatiful space outside very cosy. Ideal to eat the famous "Espetada Madeirense" and "Bolo do Caco". A very nice price!

It's probably the best place to eat espetada, so far the meat has always been great and tender. The fried maize and seasoned salad are also very good. The Bolo do Caco is not the best but it's good enough. So far so good.

My family and I enjoyed our experience in this restaurant so much that we visited it on three occasions during our 14 day visit to Madeira. the food wines and service were excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant, first class.

We visited this following a recommendation from the
owner of Taberna Madeira in Funchal. We asked for the best place for the beef

Traveling with a group we enjoyed an excellent meal of
Espetada served on metal skewers hanging from a hook above the table. The beef
was so tender and full of flavor. I'm not much of a meat eater but these were
delicious. We also enjoyed Bolo do Caco a delicious sweet potato bread dredged
